This project consists of a complete 2-story building construction with approximately 35,730 square feet and also the necessary site improvements for the New Fleming County Judicial Center.
The Fleming County Judicial Center was constructed at the corner of two state highways in downtown Flemingsburg for the Kentucky Administrative Office of the Courts. During construction,Trace Creek relocated fiber optic telephone, three phase electrical service and Internet cable to below grade.
During construction, it was important to protect a historical building that was situated within twenty feet of the new structure. The northern portion of the structure was built on a terraced slope, and was fifteen feet below the adjacent grade. Trace Creek preserved the historic structure by protecting and shoring the structure at the north elevation while the Judicial Center was constructed.
